Highly accomplished retail executive and industry expert with many C-suite experiences. She brings more than 20 years of experience building and growing businesses in the ecommerce industry by successfully leveraging her skills across customer-centric strategy and marketing initiatives.
Miki was CEO of KIDBOX, the first kids’ style box offering premiere brands, significant savings and a mission to clothe one million children in need, from 2016 to 2019. From 2014 to 2016, Miki was President, Digital Commerce & Chief Marketing Officer at Chico’s FAS. She oversaw the Digital Commerce business and Marketing Strategy for three distinct brands, Chico’s, White House Black Market and Soma Intimates. Prior to this role, Miki was Chief Marketing Officer at Tory Burch from 2009 to 2014. She was responsible for Global Marketing, Public Relations and ecommerce. Prior to joining Tory Burch, Miki was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Ralph Lauren where she spent nearly eight years developing and leading multichannel marketing strategy for the retail businesses.
An early adopter of digital innovation, ecommerce and multichannel customer experience, Miki was actively involved in Shop.org, the digital division of the National Retail Federation (NRF), where she completed her fourth term on the Board of Directors as Chairman, served as Chairman of the NRF CMO Council, and is presently a member of the NRF Board of Directors. Miki also currently serves on the Board of Directors for New York & Company Inc. and Shoprunner Inc., and formerly served on the Board of Directors of Giggle Inc., and Sport Chalet, Inc.
Miki earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree from Northwestern University. She was recognized in 2011 as one of the “Top Women in Cross-Channel Retail,” in 2013 as one of Brand Innovators’ “Top 50 Women Brand Marketers,” as one of the “Ten of Tomorrow” by Women’s Wear Daily, and received the “Silver Plaque Award” from the NRF for her contributions to the retail industry.
