Chelsea has many years of digital marketing and ecommerce experience across many disciplines. She has overseen 11 full website redesigns, 7 re-platforming projects, 3 international expansions, and several loyalty program rollouts. She is skilled at coupling customer-centric marketing with technologies to maximize growth for the retailer or brand.
Most recently, Chelsea was the CMO at Cheaper Than Dirt (discount shooting sports retailer) where she oversaw all aspects of digital presence including ecommerce strategy, persona development and tracking, customer engagement, branding, personalization, content marketing, email, SEO, SEM, data mining, graphic design, and display advertising. She also integrated data, machine learning, and AI practices into marketing team processes, increased customer engagement and conversion while serving as the subject matter expert for ecommerce, digital, artificial intelligence, personalization, and all things MarTech.
Prior to that, Chelsea was the Director of Ecommerce at Ylang 23 (designer jewelry retailer), where she owned the ecommerce website and digital marketing channels, including strategy, customer-facing communications, branding, merchandising, and SEO/SEM campaigns. She has also held positions at Nambe, Medieval Times, Hotels.com, and several media publications as a content producer and editor.
