Usability Testing: The Real Voice of the Consumer

How consumers use sites and what they expect from sites is always changing. Yesterday’s assumptions won’t work today. Our expert speakers in this session will show attendees how to harness insights from understanding the consumer psyche, how shoppers navigate your site, which design features reward and keep them engaged, and ultimately lead to a purchase. An expert tester and two e-retailers will dissect a menu of usability testing options including eye tracking, card sorting and focus groups – in both lab and out-of-lab settings. Speakers will detail methodology behind various testing approaches, identify which tests are best for specific circumstances and how test results guided design decisions that improved conversion.
