FitForCommerce Beefs Up Coastal Farm’s Business with Digital Commerce Strategy
Client leveraged FitForCommerce’s Strategic Diligence Framework to formulate an omnichannel strategy, including a 3-year P&L. We benchmarked and mystery-shopped Coastal stores and competitors, establishing performance criteria, assessing and ultimately informing Coastal’s readiness for BOPIS. We also cconducted a “Voice of the Customer” research, which included quality interviews and a comprehensive online customer survey to understand customer demand for omnichannel and influence marketing decisions. We assessed organizational structure across all divisions evaluating skill sets, competencies, operational practices and omnichannel readiness. This led us to identify key or missing functions related to omnichannel execution and developed job descriptions for recommended roles.
By conducting technology assessment of all core systems (OMS, CMS, CRM, WMS and ERP), FitForCommerce developed a high-level technology roadmap to identify key technology investment requirements. We then facilitated workshops and coaching of key stakeholders to prepare for omnichannel success. We provided a solid business case for an omnichannel approach and turn-key guide implementation, preparing them to not only survive, but thrive in a modern digital world.
