Rod Forsythe is a senior consultant at FitForCommerce with over 25 years of experience, specializing in ecommerce platforms (design, technology, implementations, selection and evaluation), web development and project management.
Having had senior management roles at NewsComm, Arizona Digital Farms, Crossview, Acquity Group, Vcommerce and shoes.com, Rod is well-versed in all aspects of ecommerce platforms and point solutions. Rod was also Director of Program Management and Technology at Specialty Retail Shops, a company that acquires and grows niche online retailers, where he developed and managed their online properties, from requirements to design to development to launch. As the chief technologist, Rod was also responsible for executing technical diligence on all aspects of newly acquired companies and the merger of those companies into Specialty Retail Shops.
Rod has worked with clients such as Guitar Center, Spencer’s Gifts, Epson, Vera Bradley, Gucci, Vermont Teddy Bear, The Shopping Channel, Davids Tea, Weingartz, Aerosoles, West Marine, Army and Air Force Exchange Service, Le Creuset, Toys”R”Us, Target and Overstock.
Rod graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Computer Science with Emphasis in Computer Engineering.
